The Unseen Homeland — Art Print

A powerful visual reflection on identity, heritage, resilience, and the feeling of carrying home within you, The Unseen Homeland explores the connection between a person and the place, culture, and history that shape them.

This art print is a professionally printed reproduction of an original hand-painted mixed-media artwork created using acrylic, texture, and acrylic marker on canvas.

At the centre of the artwork is a woman whose face is intentionally concealed beneath a keffiyeh-inspired pattern. Her hidden features allow her to represent more than one woman, one story, or one experience — creating space for the viewer to connect with the work in their own way.

The keffiyeh speaks to heritage, identity, and belonging, while the wings emerging behind her represent strength, freedom, protection, resilience, and the ability to rise above what we carry.

The vibrant orange background and layered textures reflect the complexity of identity — the memories, experiences, culture, and emotions that become part of who we are.

At its heart, The Unseen Homeland is about the idea that home is not always simply a place. Sometimes, it is something we carry within us.

She carries home. 🇵🇸
